Appearing as a witness Tuesday morning before the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs—which held a hearing on “Early Outpatient Treatment: An Essential Part of a COVID-19 Solution”— Dr. Pierre Kory, President of the Frontline COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC), called for the government to swiftly review the already expansive and still rapidly emerging medical evidence on Ivermectin.

The data shows the ability of the drug Ivermectin to prevent COVID-19, to keep those with early symptoms from progressing to the hyper-inflammatory phase of the disease, and even to help critically ill patients recover.

Dr. Kory testified that Ivermectin is effectively a “miracle drug” against COVID-19 and called upon the government’s medical authorities — the NIH, CDC, and FDA—to urgently review the latest data and then issue guidelines for physicians, nurse-practitioners, and physician assistants to prescribe Ivermectin for COVID-19.

Ivermectine

Ivermectine is een veilig anti-parasitair geneesmiddel, waarvoor William C. Campbell in 2015 zelfs de Nobelprijs heeft gekregen [9]. Tevens staat het op de lijst met meest essentiële medicijnen van de WHO ‘The Selection and Use of Essential Medicines’

Ivermectine blijkt met betrekking tot COVID-19 zowel antivirale eigenschappen te bezitten (effectief in profylaxe en vroegtijdige behandeling) en ontstekingsremmende eigenschappen (effectief in ziekenhuisbehandeling).

Het team van Prof. Paul Marik en Dr. Pierre Kory (meer dan 2000 peer reviewed wetenschappelijke publicaties) hebben een meta-analyse geschreven over Ivermectine met zeer goede resultaten.

Dr. Andrew Hill heeft op 31 december in een video de eerste resultaten van een door de WHO sponsorde meta-analyse van 11 randomized controlled trials (de hoogste standaard) bekendgemaakt:

43% sneller herstel;
83% lagere mortaliteit;

Deze resultaten zijn op basis van 1452 patiënten verdeeld over de 11 studies. In januari 2021 worden de resultaten verwacht van nog 3 grote Ivermectine studies (Brazilië, Colombia en Argentinië), waarbij het aantal geanalyseerde patiënten op meer dan 3000 komt.

Hierbij is enkel gekeken naar studies van ziekenhuispatiënten. Profylaxe (voorkoming van) en vroegtijdige behandeling via eerstelijns zorg, levert direct een enorme ontlasting op van de ziekenhuiszorg.

Het is onvoorstelbaar dat het NHG, FMS en de Stichting Werkgroep Antibioticabeleid (SWAB) zich nog altijd niet in positieve zin uitspreken voor Ivermectine. Het ironische is echter wel, dat ze zich massaal achter de effectiviteit van vaccins scharen op basis van resultaten van 170 patiënten.

Facts Ivermectin

IVERMECTIN: “100% of the 10 Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs) report positive effects, with an estimated reduction of 74% in the effect measured using a random effects meta-analysis”

WHO-sponsored review of ivermectin trials indicates 83% reduction in covid mortality.

Dr Andrew Hill of the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Liverpool (UK) is currently performing a WHO-sponsored review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials of ivermectin against covid. Dr Hill is presenting his preliminary results, which indicate a highly significant 83% reduction in covid mortality (95% CI 65%-92%).

This result is based on in-hospital trials, so it does not yet take into account early ambulatory and prophylactic treatment. The authors of the review intend to include three more trials, due to be published sometime in January, before providing a final conclusion. At the end of his presentation, Dr Hill describes ivermectin as a potentially “transformational treatment”.

Dosage and directions

Use Stromectol as directed by your doctor.Take Stromectol by mouth on an empty stomach with water. Some patients who take Stromectol will need repeated follow-up and retreatment to make sure the infection is cleared up completely. Follow your doctor’s instructions. Be sure to keep all doctor and lab appointments.

Precautions

It seems as time passes, the evidence supporting Ivermectin grows stronger and stronger. I can only hope that we reach a tipping point soon that major organizations like the WHO, CDC, … all recognize that Ivermectin is both a very good preventive drug and a very good treatment too.

Stromectol may cause dizziness or drowsiness. These effects may be worse if you take it with alcohol or certain medicines. Use Stromectol with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you react to it.

Stromectol may cause dizziness, lightheadedness, or fainting; alcohol, hot weather, exercise, or fever may increase these effects. To prevent them, sit up or stand slowly, especially in the morning. Sit or lie down at the first sign of any of these effects.

Rarely, some patients taking Stromectol who have also had a certain other parasite infection (loiasis) have developed a serious and sometimes fatal brain problem. Tell your doctor if you have any other parasite infection. Tell your doctor if you have been in an area where Loa loa infection is likely (eg, West or Central Africa). Tell your doctor at once if you have symptoms such as unusual back pain, eye bleeding, shortness of breath, failure to control bladder or bowel, trouble walking or standing, mental changes (eg, confusion), unusual weakness, or seizures.

Stromectol should be used with extreme caution in CHILDREN weighing less than 33 pounds (15 kilograms); safety and effectiveness in these children have not been confirmed.

Do not use Stromectol if you are pregnant. If you think you may be pregnant, contact your doctor right away. Stromectol is found in breast milk. If you are or will be breast-feeding while you use Stromectol, check with your doctor. Discuss any possible risks to your baby.

Contraindications

No not use this medicine if you are allergic to any ingredient in Stromectol.

Possible side effects

The most common effect are diarrhea; dizziness; nausea.

Sever side effects include severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); eye pain, swelling, or redness; fainting; fast heartbeat; fever; joint pain; red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin; seizures; severe dizziness or lightheadedness; swelling of the skin, arms, legs, ankles, or feet; tender or swollen lymph glands (eg, in the neck, groin, underarms); vision changes; yellowing of the eyes or skin.

Drug interaction

Tell your health care provider if you are taking any other medicines, especially any of the following:Warfarin because the risk of its side effects may be increased by Stromectol.

Missed dose

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.

Overdose

If overdose is suspected, contact a local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include: numbness, tingling, trouble breathing, loss of coordination, seizures.

Storage

Store at room temperature below 86 degrees F (30 degrees C) away from light and moisture. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep all medicines away from children and pets.
